It all started when…

One day I found myself and my business feeling a bit stifled by my environment, kind of like a fish in a little bowl. I was teaching HypnoBirthing classes and seeing clients for hypnosis, but I felt a need grow!  The decision to open The Root Empowerment Center was a scary and exciting one, but I knew that great things come from pushing through fear, and this was something I was passionate about, so I had faith, and I took the leap!

I wanted to have a teaching/expo room and various smaller rooms for other practitioners.  I found an abandoned office space in the lower level of the building where I currently shared an office.  It took some imagination, support from friends and family, and some great contractors to turn my dream into a reality. In October of 2017, my new space was ready for filling up with furniture, decorations, and positive energy!

Before I knew it, I had a group of women sharing the space with me: a midwife, a massage therapist, a reiki master, hypnotists, a postpartum doula, a naturopath, birth doulas, a physical therapist and a chiropractor!  “If you build it, they will come, right?” Well if you nourish the roots, they will grow the most beautiful flowers, fruits and trees…and also the most beautiful, empowered and healthy people!

It’s been such a fun and exciting ride so far, and I so look forward to adding more interesting practitioners, people, services, classes, and personal growth opportunities to The Root Empowerment Center in the near future!
